Submit a Launch Update

Recently paddled a local launch? Send a quick update. You do not need to be an expert. Parking notes, launch conditions, restroom status, and safety or access changes all help the next paddler.

Please share only what you actually saw, and let us know roughly when you were there. We review every update by hand and may edit it for clarity. Community reports are labeled separately from full field reviews, and a reader report is never presented as a Paddle Greene field visit.

How this works

Your update goes straight to us when you submit, photos included. No account, no sign-in. Nothing you send appears on the site automatically: a person reads every report, and anything we publish from it is labeled a community update rather than one of our own field reviews. We strip location data from photos before storing them, and your email is only used to follow up. If the send ever fails, the page hands you a copy of your report so you can email it instead.

Fields marked * are required. Everything else is optional, so share what you remember. Most paddlers finish in a few minutes.

Photos

Optional, and the single most useful thing after your notes. A photo of the parking area, the carry, and the water's edge tells the next paddler more than a paragraph. We strip location data from every upload before storing it.

Up to 6 photos, 10MB each. JPEG, PNG, or WebP.

Parking, the launch, the water, signage, hazards. Required if you attach photos, and it becomes the starting point for the alt text.

+ Add photo credit (optional)

Your info and permissions

Only needed if you want credit.

For follow-up only. Never shown publicly without your permission.

Exactly how you would like to be credited.

Before you submit

By submitting this update, you confirm that the notes are based on your own recent observation to the best of your knowledge. You give Paddle Greene permission to use, edit, summarize, and publish your submitted notes to improve the site. If you email photos and check the photo permission, you give Paddle Greene permission to publish those photos with the credit preference you choose. Your email may be used for follow-up questions but will not be displayed publicly without your permission.

Conditions change. Community updates are helpful, but they are not guarantees of safety or access.
